    Thank-you for the pictures. You give much more sense of the scale than the newspaper image I had already seen. It looks very very powerful.

    1. 888,246 poppies for those who died in military service in British and Commonwealth countries. I got there at 8:00 a.m. and there was already a crowd. The poppies have been sold and funds go to charity.
